Comments and questions

If you've got comments on or corrections to the course or package, you can email the maintainer at python@livewires.org.uk. The current maintainers are Rob Pearce and Rhodri James. Corrections as context diffs of the source files are especially welcome :-)

Note: Please don't email us with general Python programming questions unless you were on the LiveWires holiday, as we'll just ignore you. If you want help with Python, you could try the comp.lang.python newsgroup (if you've never posted to a newsgroup before, you might want to look at how not to do it). You could also try the Python Tutor mailing list, which exists to put people learning Python in touch with experts.

Authors

Gareth McCaughan and Richard Crook both specified and wrote the LiveWires package, with the assistance of Neil Turton and Matthew Newton. Paul Wright ported the games library to use pygame. Gareth wrote most of the Beginners' worksheets. Rhodri James, Neil and Paul wrote various combinations of Beginners' and Games sheets. Rob Pearce has continued to maintain and improve the library and worksheets. Mark White wrote the wsheet LaTeX class which enabled us to produce the Postscript and PDF versions of the sheets.

The rest of the team kept us sane on the LiveWires holiday itself.
